There are several websites dedicated solely to the promotion of wedding venues. Whilst most feature dozens of venues in a wide range of styles of varying quality, one or two go a step further by assessing the quality of the venues featured.
Is the venue accommodating? Do you have guests who may come in wheelchairs? Does your venue have some arrangements for them? How they would accommodate guests with small kids? Figure out the limits of your venue and exactly what the wedding venue planner is offering.
Reckoning Seating Capacity. The second most important thing to consider is to personally observe the seating capacity. It is important to accommodate all your local and international guests at the same location. Determining the full capacity of the venue is the best thing to have in mind. In identifying the suitability of the wedding place you should also ascertain its past record. References from other people are helpful in this regard and help you find a better place.
Large wedding venues sometimes offer set packages, which include a single price per head for their meal, wine, toast drink and evening buffet. All venues should provide you with a price list before you book anything, check if there is a cost for hiring the venue, on top of the consumables. Some venues charge less for Sunday – Thursday weddings, whilst Fridays and Saturdays are more popular wedding days and may cost more.
